A long time ago, a guy wanted to find a way through Alaska by sea.
As we now know, there is none. So he had to turn around.
The area he was is named "Turnagain" because of this.
Trivia continued: The bay has the second highest tide in world, 44 feet / 14 m.
This causes strong and fast currents. Building amazing forms of frozen ice and water....
Heading east....found this place and decided to stay.... |
