Trollstigen and Trondheim

On our way from Geiranger to Trondheim we take the ferry. Ferrys are common in Norway...

And the "Trollstigen" pass. The name derives from the (supernatural being) "Troll" and "stair".
(For German readers: "Troll" und "Stiege". Trolls seem to play a certain role in Scandinavian culture, they appear often...

Trondheim is Norway's 3rd biggest city. Due to it's history there quite a lot to see:

The Nidaros Cathedral:

Stiftsgården:

The old storages have been transformed to apartments, shops and restaurants:

Norway is big...
(Actually the same area than e.h.  Germany But less than 7% of Germany's population. And stretched into length, So long drives are common)
