Vimmerby - Day....who cares ?

Of course, every morning we need some ti, me to load all the stuff 

to the cars. During this, kids might have to wait a few minutes... ;-)

Well, I said I would come back to the "Sweden reminds me of some parts of the USA".

 In Sweden, most motorbikes seem to be Harley Davison. Sports bikes seem to be rare.

Today we drove to Vimmerby...

Here the Astrid Lindgren World is located. More than 500k visitor a year. That's a lot, since the fun park is only open half a year. So if you are looking for scenic nature pictures in this post, you will be disappointed. Today is about kids fun.

 Here everything is about the stories of Astrid Lindgren, Pippilotta Viktualia Rullgardina Krusmynta Efraimsdotter Långstrum for instance. She lives at Villa Villekulla aka Villa Kunterbunt.

 The are shows starting in different areas at least every half hour. 

And: There are no roller coasters or stuff like this. If you are looking for this kind of entertainment, your are at the wrong place.

 The world of Pipi & Co. has been built on a lower scale:

 Overall impression: A lot of great fun for kids. Food is expensive and not a good value for the money. But grills for barbecue are available for free. So just bring your own food !
